Please pray for the family of a father of four children, who has been killed by Muslim neighbours in Pakistan.
Marshall Masih, a Catholic, had objected to the harassment of Christians in the area of Lahore where he lived.

Four armed Muslims broke into his home in the early hours, last week. They briefly held Masih and his family at gunpoint, before shooting him 16 times, in the presence of his wife and young children, according to Morning Star News.
Masih had previously filed a police complaint against his attackers for aerial firing and harassing Christian women. His sister, Goshi Yaqoob, said after the attack, ‘The Muslims were offended that a Christian had taken a stance against their criminal activities and, by killing him in cold blood, they have shown that our lives do not matter.’

One of Release International’s partners in Pakistan said, ‘These cases and this sort of attitude against Christians has become a daily routine.’
Give thanks that Release International once again has opportunity to be a voice for persecuted Christians at a number of Christian conferences and events this summer. We have seen a good response by visitors to our stands so far.
We’ve recently been at Keswick, Portstewart, in Northern Ireland, and the Cedarwood Festival in the north of England. We are currently at the main Keswick Convention in the north of England (all three weeks!), and will also be at the New Wine annual festival this month.

Do continue to pray for a productive time at all of these events, that the Lord will prompt people to make a loving response to the needs of persecuted Christians around the world.
